Pdf line thickness problem. . The line weight is so thick that it obscures the details of the drawing. It is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that normal underlines in Word appear thick and bold when opened in PDF. I've tried troubleshooting and changing my border options to the smallest dotted line based on previous post suggestions, or going to "Print" before converting, but it still occurs. Other people have had this issue and this has resolved. Make sure the "Plot object lineweights" and "Plot with plot styles" are checked. Use File > Plot and select device as "DWG to PDF" instead. Of course, this works only for PDF drawings produced with vector (CAD) software such as Revit ® and AutoCAD ®. If your PDF Line weights look wrong when opened in Acrobat, it could be related to this issue. Basically, when I convert an excel sheet into an adobe pdf, my borders get screwed up (typically thickened).
